Tri-Town Shuttle Bus - $

As many businesses and residents are aware, ACTR submitted an application in August to VTrans requesting an expansion grant for the Tri-Town Shuttle Bus route.  We have been notified that there were only enough funds for three new projects and our application ranked 4th.  While we are disappointed our project was not selected, we are pleased with the ranking which bodes well for next year.  We intend to re-apply for a grant and will continue to make this expansion a priority for Addison County businesses and residents.  

We are extremely grateful to the many of you who wrote letters and emails of support that were included in the application.  Our intention is to create a direct connection between Middlebury and Vergennes and improve the frequency of service for Bristol, New Haven, Vergennes and Middlebury. 

So, stay tuned and thank you again for your on-going support of public transportation for everyone in Addison County. (updated November 18, 2008)

Days of operation, Monday – Friday

$ - Fares: $1 one-way fares, 10-ride pass $9, monthly pass $30; reduced fares for 6 to 17 year olds, seniors 60+, people with disability - 50% fare reduction.

The Tri-Town Shuttle connects with all other ACTR shuttles at Merchant's Row at various times Monday - Friday. Check other shuttle schedules for exact connection times.

- Middlebury to/from Bristol is via Rte 7/River Road
- Bristol to/from New Haven Junction is via Route 17
- New Haven Junction to/from Vergennes is via Rte 7
